How to Play Hodl Field

A quick path from your first login to gathering, earning, quests, and trading. Written for players, not developers.

Start Here: Your First Minute

No install, no wallet needed to try. Hit Play Now and you spawn at the central fountain in the town square. Other players are wandering around you.

Click the ground to walk there, or use W A S D to move. Drag with your mouse to pan the camera and scroll to zoom. Walk up to any activity and press E to interact.

Tip: Your $HODL counter is top-right. Everything you earn is saved automatically, so come back later and it's still there.

The World at a Glance

The town square (fountain + wheel) is home base. Around it, each block holds one thing: Casino and Bank to the north, Furni Shop and the Wizard House on the sides, Cosmetics to the east, and houses to the south.

The world layout

The activity zones sit in the corners: Fishing pond, Mining dig site, Logging yard, and the PvP Arena. Roads connect every block, so just follow them to get around.

Remember: Crystals for the quest are scattered across the whole map, not just the square. Explore the edges.

Gathering: Fish, Mine, Chop

Three ways to earn right now. Walk to the spot, press E, and collect $HODL:

›Fishing: stand by the pond and cast, then reel in fish for a payout.
›Mining: break stone at the dig site and haul the ore back.
›Logging: chop logs in the timber yard, and each swing stacks coins.

Tip: Gathering is the safest, steadiest income. Rotate between all three so you're never idle.

Quests & Crystals

Your first quest: collect 5 glowing crystals scattered across the world for a +50 $HODL bonus. The quest tracker on the left shows your progress.

Crystals glow blue and spin, so walk over one to pick it up. They respawn around the map, so keep an eye out while you gather.

Efficiency: Grab crystals on your way between fishing, mining, and logging, since one lap can finish the quest.

Wheel of Fortune

Behind the fountain stands the spinner wheel. Walk up and press E for a chance at a big $HODL payout, a quick gamble between gathering runs.

Remember: The wheel is luck-based. Treat winnings as a bonus on top of your steady gathering income.

PvP Arena

The blue ring in the southeast corner is the PvP Arena. Step onto the platform to challenge other players. Battles are coming soon. For now it's a place to gather and show off your avatar.

Heads up: When PvP goes live, the arena will be the place to wager $HODL. Build up your stack first.

Saving Your Progress

Everything saves automatically. Your $HODL coins, crystal progress, and last position are stored as you play, so when you come back you pick up exactly where you left off.

Tip: No need to press save. Just play, and it syncs in the background and when you close the tab.

$HODL & The Economy

Coins you earn today will power the $HODL economy: buying, selling, and trading across the world. The token launches on Base, and right now it's in-game currency you're stacking early.
